Upon graduation from Rutgers University, Jack entered the New York publishing industry at Plenum Press in its journals department. Since that time, he has directed or contributed to the publication of more than a thousand books and periodicals for a variety of prominent publishers, societies, and businesses. He moved to North Carolina in 1989, founding Technica Editorial Services with Arlene Furman
