Makayla graduated from Western Carolina University in 2017 with a BA in Professional Writing. She worked in Academic publishing five years prior to joining the Technica team in 2022. Makayla is a Senior Editor for multiple scholarly journals who takes manuscripts from submission to publication and absolutely loves reports. In her free time, she can be found lounging with her beagle-basset, Jane Pawsten, reading, cross-stitching or baking.
