J.D. moved to Chapel Hill in 2022 and joined the Technica team in 2023. He earned an MA in English from the University of Montana in 2019. J.D. has previously worked as a proposal coordinator at a civil engineering firm and as a contributing writer for an alternative newspaper. As an Associate Editor, he performs various tasks related to the day-to-day operation of peer review journals and trade magazines. In his free time, J.D. enjoys jogging along the Bolin Creek Trail, reading used books, and going to concerts.
