Originally from Hickory, NC, Emma graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelors in Secondary English Education and a Master’s Degree from University of North Carolina Asheville with a focus in Creative Writing. After teaching high school English for the past four years, Emma decided to pursue her interests in the world of publishing. As an editorial assistant, Emma supports editors and helps process manuscripts for publication. In her free time, she enjoys writing and teaching herself new hobbies like sewing, painting, and digital design.
