Claire Lee

Assistant Managing Editor

Claire graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2017 with a BA in Media & Journalism and a second major in English. Before joining Technica, Claire honed her grammar-checking skills as a staff member of the Daily Tar Heel newspaper. As an Assistant Managing Editor, Claire oversees peer review and editorial support for several academic journals, in addition to project management, copyediting, and proofreading. She also works with Technica’s author services team for fiction and nonfiction projects. An avid reader from a young age, Claire is a knitter who enjoys watching movies, baking, taking scenic walks with her husband, getting hooked on British television, and going to the theater.
